Dr. Rolf Tanner
Rolf Tanner holds an executive MBA and a PhD in history and political science from the University of Zurich. He worked as a political analyst with the Union Bank of Switzerland and a St. Gallen-based political risk consulting firm. He then joined Swiss Re in 2002 and was Head of Political & Sustainability Risk Management and Head of Media Relations & Financial Reporting. He continues to work part-time for Swiss Re as a Senior Risk Manager while free-lancing as an author.
Dr. Philipp Aeby
Dr. Philipp Aeby is CEO of RepRisk and previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner. Before joining RepRisk in 2006, he served in various managerial positions across Europe at Amgen, a global biopharmaceutical firm, and worked on a broad range of international assignments with the Boston Consulting Group. Philipp holds aPhD in Environmental Physics and a Master’s degree in Climatology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland. Philipp is on the Board of Swiss Sustainable Finance, a member of the Global Advisory Council of Cornerstone Capital Inc., and was on UNICEF’s Advisory Board during the launch of UNICEF’s Children’s Rights and Business Principles.
Daniel Bloch studied law and holds an MBA from the Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD). He was Head of the US distribution company Camille Bloch Corp in the new US export market. Since 2005 he is Chairman of the board at Chocolats Camille Bloch SA. Daniel Bloch is also Deputy President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Canton of Bern.
Dr. Barbara Dubach
Barbara Dubach holds a PhD in economics. She worked as environmental economist at the Federal Office for the Environment, Forest and Landscape. Later she joined the cement supplier Holcim where she worked at last as Vice-President Corporate Social Responsibility / Sustainable Development Coordination. In 2010 she set up EngageAbility as her own company active in sustainable development.
Dr. Victor P. Schmid
Victor Schmid holds a PhD in sociology and political science. He was Advisor to Federal Councillor Flavio Cotti and Head of the Media and Information Service at the Federal Department of Home Affairs (FDHA). He then joined the Ascom Holding AG as First Vice-President of Corporate Communications. Victor Schmid is currently Senior Partner and owner of Hirzel.Neef.Schmid.Konsulenten.
Dr. Enrique Steiger
Dr. Enrique Steiger is aspecialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Traumatology. He is co-owner of “Clinic Utoquai” in Zurich and founder of the SwisscrossFoundation. Swisscross aims to provide help and support to health care providers operating in high-risk situations. Since 1989, he has undertaken numerous missions as a physician and delegate for the International Committeeof the Red Cross (ICRC), UN, OSCE humanitarian conflict regions. He is aguest lecturer at the Institute for Conflict Research of Political Science at the University of Zurich.
Dr. David Wartenweiler
David Wartenweiler studied international relations and holds a PhD in modern history. He worked with the World Economic Forum in Geneva, before joining Exane as Investment Strategist. He then was Senior Economist at Julius Baer in Zurich and worked as Head of Research at Horizon21 Alternative Investments. In 2011 he joined Habib Bank AG Zurich where he is in charge of the investment banking activities.
