Isabelle Jost holds a MA in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Zurich where she specialized in democratic transition processes. She previously worked as a UN Youth Volunteer for Gender & Security at UN Women in Kosovo (March 2015-September 2016), supporting projects on transitional justice and reparations for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence, inter-ethnic dialogues and domestic violence. Isabelle also interned with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (March 2014-February 2015), where she worked with the Senior Gender Policy Advisor and on communication. During her studies, she did short internships at Terre des Femmes and VENRO e.V. in Germany. Isabelle joined swisspeace in February 2017 as an associate program officer in the Policy and Platform Program and the Swiss Platform for Peacebuilding (KOFF) where she works on gender and other issues.
