Lukas Krienbuehl is head of Communications at swisspeace and program officer in the Statehood and Conflict program since 2011. From 2011-2014, he also was editor of the monthly KOFF peacebuilding newsletter. He holds a Licence degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva and a MA in International Security and Conflict Studies from Dublin City University. Before joining swisspeace he was a Mercator fellow in international affairs, working on conflict-sensitive design of international electoral assistance with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance in Sweden, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems in Guinea and Political Division IV of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Switzerland. Previously, he worked for, a Swiss business magazine, and as communication assistant at swisspeace.
