Capacity-Building for Cercapaz in Colombia

Content: swisspeace conducted workshops and provided individual consultations to the Cercapaz program in Colombia. The focus was on concepts and instruments of conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding, lessons learned in the sensitive field of patriarchal violence structures, the outlook for social change and gender equality.

Capacity-Building Workshop in the Central African Republic

Capacity Building on Negotiation for Darfur Movement

One-week training event took place in Uganda in 2008 and focussed on the specific knowledge, skills and strategizing capacity needed by parties to engage effectively in a mediation process. 

Training on Mediation in Peace Processes for IGAD Member States

The Mediation Support Project (MSP) conducted a five-day course for IGAD mediation experts to increase their knowledge, skills and strategizing capacity regarding the use of negotiation and mediation in peace processes.
