Content: swisspeace evaluated the Learning Project "Election Support" of the SDC's Decentralisation and Local Governance Network aimed at promoting democratic practices in election processes. 

Evaluation of "Noyau de Paix" in Rwanda

Mandated by: Caritas Switzerland
Year: 2010, completed
Content: KOFF assessed key aspects of "Noyau de Paix" - a network of local peacebuilding organizations - such as effectiveness and sustainability and the possibility for alliances with other NGOs or the state. 

Evaluation of Nonviolent Peaceforce Philippines

Mandated by: Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP)

Content: swisspeace assessed the achievement of objectives and the effectiveness of NP's work in Mindanao and the perception of NP among a sample of partner organizations, stakeholders, conflict parties and beneficiaries. It offered the opportunity for collaborative sharing and learning and provided recommendations for NP's future work. 

Project Evaluation in Armenia and Azerbaijan

Year: 2010, completed
Content: The project aims at dismantling the prevailing negative stereotypes in both of these countries and demonstrating the opportunities for increased cooperation. The evaluation will serve for a joint assessment of the current situation as well as for increasing the effectiveness and strategic focus of the project in the the next phase.

Evaluation of "Promoting dialogue for regional reconciliation"

Content: swisspeace evaluated the relevance and effectiveness of the dialogue and reconciliation project run by two local Armenian and Azerbaijani partners aiming at promoting dialogue between NGOs and youth organizations across the border. swisspeace also helped to develop an effective strategy for the remaining project phase.

Evaluating International Peace Mediation

Content: swisspeace experts developed a framework for evaluating peace mediation activities. The mandate also included the drafting of a background paper.
