Peace Mediation Course
The annual two-week Peace Mediation Course, organized by the Mediation Support Project (MSP), is designed for participants to deepen their understanding of peace mediation and acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes to support mediation processes effectively. The course focuses on peace negotiations that include the top leadership of conflict parties and a mediator or a facilitator.

Dealing with the Past Course
The annual two-week Advanced Learning Course on Dealing with the Past, organized by swisspeace and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, provides a thorough understanding of the core issues and key challenges in dealing with a legacy of grave human rights violations in post-conflict societies.

Advanced Studies Programs
Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Civilian Peacebuilding
The one-year postgraduate program, organized in collaboration with the University of Basel, provides in-depth knowledge of civilian peacebuilding and reflects on current practices and trends in this field.

swisspeace and KOFF offer tailor-made training on a variety of topics, including the core competencies Dealing with the Past, Mediation, Analysis & Impact, Statehood & Conflict, Business & Peace, Gender & Peacebuilding as well as training on crosscutting methodological competences (e.g. conflict analysis, conflict sensitivity, design, monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment). Training is individualized, introductory or advanced, context-specific, people-to-people or web-based.
