KOFF sets geographical priorities for its activities in regions where both Swiss governmental and non-governmental organizations are interested in active cooperation. The goals is to enhance complementarity and coherence at different levels of intervention. In particular, KOFF organizes roundtables and offers consultancy services related to the following countries.

Afghanistan
The focus of the KOFF activities lies on issues such as civil-military cooperation, the security situation as well as the political and military stabilization.

Israel/Palestine
KOFF activities and expertise focus on conflict-sensitive development, as well as political developments in the region. KOFF provides consultancy services related to activities in Israel/Palestine.

Nepal
KOFF provides expertise on the relationships between development, human rights and peacebuilding, in particular with regard to violations and abuses committed during the war and under the authoritarian regime. KOFF also offers consultancies related to Nepal.

South Eastern Europe
The main areas of expertise are Dealing with the Past, minority issues and peacebuilding in the region. KOFF also offers consultancy and training for Swiss organizations' programming and evaluation.

Sri Lanka
KOFF has the expertise to conduct consultancies related to Sri Lanka. The regular roundtables focus on current development in the country.

Sudan
Recent events and current developments including peacebuilding and elections are the core of KOFF's expertise on Sudan. It also conducts consultancies for different organizations.
