KOFF assigns priority to topics that are of particular interest to its member organizations and relevant to the international discussion on civil peacebuilding:
Dealing with the Past
KOFF works on this priority topic since 2004. It supports all relevant Swiss governmental and non-governmental actors working on Dealing with the Past issues through training, consultancy and platform events. Currently, the program is focusing on the long-term effects of violence in post-conflict societies and is conducting consultations on the topic of missing persons.
Peacebuilding Analysis & Impact
KOFF is contributing to the development of practice-oriented methods and tools to design and implement peacebuilding and development programs in a conflict sensitive way. To this end KOFF provides information, organizes trainings, develops lessons learned and provides consultancy services to member organizations.
Gender & Peacebuilding
KOFF engages in various national and international activities on gender & peace-building through, networking, trainings and consultancy services such as the backstopping mandate for the FDFA. KOFF organizes a wide range of activities such as gender roundtable and a gender & peace-building working group.
