Dr. Victor P. Schmid

Victor Schmid studied sociology and political science at the University of Zurich where he obtained his PhD. He worked as a journalist and communications consultant. He was Advisor to Federal Councillor Flavio Cotti and Head of the Media and Information Service at the Federal Department of Home Affairs (FDHA). He then joined the Ascom Holding AG as First Vice-President of Corporate Communications. Victor Schmid is currently Senior Partner and owner of Hirzel.Neef.Schmid.Konsulenten. He holds various teaching appointments in communications.
