Sudan Platform
The Sudan Platform brings together governmental and non-governmental actors in Switzerland and beyond working on Sudan. The aim is to foster exchange and discussion about recent events and developments in Sudan, in particular related to initiatives to make peace and resolve conflict.
The Sudan Platform provides an overview of swisspeace's various activities on Sudan. Through its Center for Peacebuilding (KOFF), swisspeace organizes a biannual roundtable on recent events as well as carrying out consultancies for different organizations. The various publications and presentations of swisspeace staff give an idea of our research in Sudan. Swisspeace also administers a mailing list through which relevant reports and articles are distributed regularly.
The website of the Sudan Platform provides a rich resource base with various background articles, policy reports and relevant media sites and blogs related to Sudan. It brings a national perspective to bear as well as covering South Sudan and Darfur in particular. The website also includes a list of Swiss actors working in and on Sudan.
